1) The woman of wisdom – this would be the older friend. A woman who has been there and done that. She can help you get through difficult times. She stops you when you rant on and on like a baby and tells you what you REALLY need to hear. She helps you put on your ‘big girl panties’?

2) The free spirit – this is the girlfriend who would do anything with you. Take a trip to Kyoto to learn to sew kimonos or take flying lessons. Okay, it doesn’t have to be so dramatic! You get the picture. She makes you feel ALIVE!

3) The maverick – this is the girlfriend who tells you there is nothing you can do. She sees the world through different eyes. She?s a visionary, like you. You two fuel each other and push each other to accomplish your goals.

Well, don’t just sit there, take inventory. Do you have girlfriends like this?

When teaching a class recently, I told the ladies that smart girls aren’t busy trying to look perfect, they have fun.

Don’t you love it when a man makes you laugh? When you tell each other silly jokes? Being stupid and silly together is one of the best things you can do with your guy. It strengthens his connection with you since you don’t have a pretentious guard up.

When you are not around, he will miss being with you because you are such a joy to be around. You’re fun!

#7 – Does she understand style and how to make yours unique? All coaches send you to a stylist, who will ask you to invest thousands extra to update your wardrobe. A world-class coach for the affluent has studied design, shopped internationally in the coolest places like Rome, Stockholm, London and Prague.

She understands that true style doesn’t come from the pages of Vogue, Vanity Fair or W; she doesn’t adhere to every latest fashion. Style that attracts the cream of the crop is timeless, appears effortless and is simple.

Each woman is unique and beautiful. Her uniqueness should be enhanced by a skilled eye for fashion with a touch of cosmopolitan flair.

#8 – Does she have a global perspective of dating? What if you could take the best dating knowledge or strength from women from other countries and apply it to yours? I noticed that affluent Italian women are less “solo” than their American counterparts. Knowing why is one key that will help ignite the love lives of their affluent sisters world-wide.  On the contrary, Swedish women have been seriously short-changed dating-wise due to overly fanatic equality. Swedish men are leaving their women to date and marry foreign women in droves.

Successful women in the US are on the same path and will end up like Swedish women if they don’t get wise and change their ways. Almost all successful women indulge in behaviors that chase high-quality men away – into the arms of the average woman. Worse yet, they have no idea they’re doing it.

You can benefit infinitely from the cosmopolitan dating experience and bird’s eye view of your coach. Something regular coaches can never offer you.

#9 – Does she have a positive attitude? A coach (or any woman for that matter) who belittles men, gossips or talks about others is not someone you want in your life or who can guarantee you the highest level of confidentiality.

A word of advice, if you have girlfriends like this, you should seriously consider greatly limiting the time you spend with them. Letting them go is even better in order to release the space their negative energy fills in your life. That space can then be filled by a new, more positive friend…or perhaps, your new beau!

#10 – Is she honest and straightforward? Someone who tells you what you want to hear instead of what you need to hear is not a coach, but a cheerleader. Would you want a coach who treats you like their employer and tells you what you want to hear? Of course not!

As a strong successful woman, you need someone who can give you tough love and call you out without backing down. At the same time, she should listen to your desires and needs with the open mind and heart of a close girlfriend.

#11 – Does she teach manipulative or unethical “tactics”? If she asks you to do things that are manipulative, unethical or feel wrong – get rid of her. If she manipulates or threatens you in any way, for example, “If you don’t do this my way, you’re going to stay alone forever.” Run!

That’s all. If you haven’t read all 11, I suggest you go back and do so before starting your work with a coach.

#7 – ALLOWING MEN TO BE TOO BUSY FOR THEM

Most of the successful women I speak to confess that when they finally meet a man they are interested in and want to date, he never has time to go out, phone or keep in regular contact. Basically the men say there are just too busy.

They also tell me they are being taken for granted. This is the worst thing that could happen to you. It’s the kiss of death for your love life.

Luckily, you can avoid it all in the first place, nipping it in the bud by positioning yourself as numero uno in his eyes. You see, men are never too busy to find time to see, phone or text a woman with whom they have an amazing connection. Men find time to do what they want to do. You do too, correct?

Tatyana hadn’t had a date in over 3 years, due to her demanding career as an international tax attorney – so she claimed. I was not convinced. Once we designed her personalized dating plan, not only did she start attracting high-quality men to date almost immediately, she also had the time to go out with them. Her dry spell was over. She was thrilled!

During one of her sessions, she confessed she had trouble getting a second date. Men would say they were interested, but always had an excuse as to why they didn’t have time to see her.

I told Tatyana what I just told you. Men find time to do what is important to them. She was obviously not a priority. Never, never, never date a man to whom you are not a priority. Diplomats are some of the busiest people on the planet. What a turnaround!

I want to educate you so you don’t make their mistake. A couple days ago, I posted the first article in this 3-part series.

#4 – Has she done research regarding single affluent women? It is easy to “guess” what the elite woman needs in her love life. In fact, plenty of those “professional” sites and coaches do exactly that – they guess. A true understanding of the single affluent woman is not limited to having walked in her shoes, but also having spoken with thousands of elite women world-wide is crucial. This combination is basically the only way the right coach can really get to the heart of your needs and fulfill them. It also shows care and dedication.

Don’t be lulled into a false sense of security just because someone has a list of certifications and degrees. Nothing is wrong with this; I am university educated and have studied in other countries and have taken many courses in my lifetime. However, this should not be the deciding factor when you choose a coach. The best coach has walked in your shoes, studied women like you, speaks your language, knows your specific needs and helps you get them met.
You can almost always tell a one-size-fits-all coach from a coach who works with successful, affluent clients because their message is generic (geared to a broad group of women) and doesn’t target your specific needs.

#5 – Does she accommodate the affluent woman’s schedule? The elite woman is busy and has a demanding lifestyle. The one-size-fits all approach the regular dating coaches push will never meet the elite woman’s needs. The elite woman needs a tailor-made program and coaching to fit her schedule and needs. Each elite woman is unique and has her own needs that should be met.

Make sure your coach is flexible and can work around your busy schedule.

#6 – Is she socially self-conscious? How could someone who has not spent extensive amounts of time around successful, affluent men tell elite women what’s really going on with them? Many coaches out there are not even comfortable around people who have money and power. How can they ever help affluent women?

Attraction has a lot to do with your mindset. Listening to someone who has an inferiority complex will definitely not help your love life. She should be used to and comfortable dealing with affluent, successful and influential clientele.

#6 – LACK OF TIME

So many women entrepreneurs and business owners tell me this. I used to laugh as I had visions of them being literally chained to their computers! As a mom, business owner and entrepreneur, I fully understand the demands of your lifestyle. Yet, being busy is no excuse.

Men and women alike, whether they are CEOs of multimillion-dollar companies or blue collar workers, find time to do what they want to do.

Be honest with yourself. Do you really want to date or be in a relationship? If you never dedicate time, chances are you don’t want to. That’s okay. It’s wonderful to have a man in your life, but it’s not like you’re going to die without him! If you do want to “find time”, use the following 3 steps to get started right now…

3 Simple Steps to Find Time to Date Today

Step One. Decide it’s important. As I mentioned above we all find time to do what is important to us. So you must decide it is important and make it a priority.

Step Two. Schedule it. Even the busiest schedule can find time. Promise yourself you are going to dedicate a certain amount of time each week. You can start with one night a week. You can “multitask” too. Go to nice places where you are likely to find quality men, for example: wine tastings, upscale singles parties, a nice coffee shop…etc. Look for events coming up and actually put it on your agenda! You get the point.

QUICK TIP: When I was dating, I would use lunchtime to have dates. You get to eat, meet a new man and get back to work on time. Who said we shouldn’t multitask?

I have noticed there are 11 things that an affluent single needs in a coach, but they don’t know they need it. I want to educate you so you don’t make their mistake.

1. Does she specialize in the specific challenges that face successful women? Don’t let anyone tell you there is no difference. If there were no difference, then the niche sites that are out there wouldn’t even exist. There is a difference. We’ve unveiled that in this very report. If she has “walked in your shoes” even better! She can also share her experience as a mentor.

2. Does she have experience working with successful, powerful and influential men? If not, they cannot provide certain insight needed to attract such a high-caliber man that can only come from experience – not textbooks or a course.

Powerful men and women are a breed unto themselves. While there are basic psychological factors that span each sex, once a man becomes successful, wealthy and powerful, other factors come into play. These are things most regular coaches cannot and do not know. What attracts the average guy does not always attract the high-caliber man. The high-caliber man has different (even higher) standards. He thinks differently and looks for specific things. He is also more likely to be distracted by his business, toys and the endless flow of women who throw themselves at him.

All of these added factors require totally different strategy and knowledge. Knowledge most dating coaches, relationship experts and love gurus do not have. Blanket coaching for the masses just won’t do.

3. Is she culturally aware? A great coach for the affluent has knowledge of various cultures and men of different races, nationalities and perhaps has even lived abroad. The truly cosmopolitan (and rare) man most elite women seek is a citizen of the world. A traveler. Not likely to be found hanging out next door to them or at the local bar.

Your coach needs to know multiple strategies to attract the attention of quality men on an international level. How much can you learn from a coach who has never left the country or has no knowledge of dating from a global perspective?
